If CM/ECF says your account is locked, please contact VAEB ECF Helpdesk for further assistance. If your account is temporarily disabled and you do not remember your password, follow the instructions below.

Note: This form will not reset your PACER passwords. To reset a PACER account, click here.

To reactivate an account, which either was temporarily disabled due to a maximum number of invalid attempts to login or if you have forgotten your CM/ECF password, enter the Account Information requested in the form area presented to the right of these instructions.

By clicking the Submit Reset Request button, an email to the primary email address of the CM/ECF account will be transmitted. Once received, open the email and click the link provided. Follow the onscreen instructions to reset your password.

NOTE: This action only will reset your password with Virginia Eastern Bankruptcy. It WILL NOT change your password for CM/ECF systems with other Courts.
WARNING: Password recovery is for the use of existing account holders only. Activity of this web site is closely monitored by IT staff.
